Home opener rocks, thanks to Pujols
April 11, 2010 was the home opener for the St. Louis Cardinals. That game proved to be full of suprises for the fans of Albert Pujols. For the past couple of years, Pujols has had a hard time hitting against Wandy Rodriquez.
But for the home opener on April 11th, the tables have turned for Pujols and Rodriquez. Pujols ended up having 4 RBI's. And with the help of Wainwright and Ludwik, the Cardinals win the home opener 5-0 against the Houston Astros.
For the past couple of games that Pujols played against Rodriguez proved to be a great improvement for him. Pujols' stats have climbed to 4 for 8 with a home run, two doubles, and five RBI's.
